About Us:
Central High School Drama Club is an after-school extracurricular.
Through working our productions students ear points for membership into the International Thespian Society, an international organization that recognizes excellence in high school theatre. To earn membership students must work 100 "quality" hours in two different areas of theatre within two separate productions. Our Thespian Troup currently has 40 members and continues to grow each year.
- We produce 2-3 productions per year, including the fall Musical in collaboration with the CHS Music Department.
- We offer Exercises in Acting, Improvisation, and Stagecraft.
- We create Costumes, Props, Sets, Lighting, and Sound design, for school productions.
- We provide leadership and confidence building opportunities
- We give creative students the freedom to express their artistic talents.
